Buddleia Maslen is a performer and theatre maker from London. She makes theatre about climate change, and also creates work for cabaret (Phantasmagoria Cabaret) and variety shows. She has a taste for dark comedy and absurdist theatre. Buddleia finished a year-long course in physical theatre at Fourth Monkey drama school last year.
Currently working in Movement and live art collective; Matting, Alice explores physical articulation to communicate internal human moral, rhythm and suppressed emotion, expressing her stories and thoughts in a sense of improvised play, poem and physical theatre. Her other recent practices and projects include teaching vinyasa flow yoga and working with her co-founded company; Mooncup theatre in arts council funded dark comedy show on a bus; ‘A-Void’ and ‘Midsummer Mooncup’ at Metal Liverpool and The Arts centre at Edge Hill.
William Lang is a dancer, performance maker, visual artist and writer. His practice is rooted in improvisation, a tool of intuition and play. Recently his practice has been exploring a number of esoteric solos investigating feelings of grief and loneliness.
